Hotel Wasto Inn Fitness is a brand-new fitness hotel concept in Kokkola, designed for athletes, teams, business travelers and active guests who value both performance and comfort. Combining high-quality accommodation with professional training facilities, Hotel Wasto Inn stands out as one of the largest fitness-focused hotel concepts in Finland. The hotel consists of 18 modern apartments — fifteen accommodating up to four guests and three accommodating up to three — making it especially suitable for sports teams, training camps, corporate groups, and extended stays.
Each apartment is newly built and carefully designed to provide both privacy and practicality. All units include a private bathroom with shower and toilet, comfortable sleeping arrangements, and a fully equipped kitchenette with refrigerator, stove, microwave, and essential kitchen utensils. Guests also enjoy a dining table, flat-screen TV, darkening shade curtains for optimal rest, and high-speed Wi-Fi throughout the property. Towels and bed linens are always included in the stay.
Gym access is included for all guests. The hotel operates in direct connection with Ole.Fit Kokkola, offering extensive strength and cardio equipment, functional training areas, and a sauna within the gym facilities. Additional amenities include laundry and washing facilities, conference and meeting spaces, and a group-friendly setup ideal for both short- and long-term stays. Conveniently located approximately 1 km from the center of Kokkola, Hotel Wasto Inn offers easy access to supermarkets and daily services while maintaining a calm environment for focused training, work, or rest.
Accommodation operations begin
Wallenius Holding Ab starts accommodation operations in Kokkola. The need for quality long-term accommodation for project workers becomes clear.
Ole.fit moves to Mesilä
Ole.fit Kokkola moves to its current premises in autumn 2024. The gym expands and collaboration with the hotel begins to take shape.
Hotel Wasto Inn opens
The fitness hotel opens its doors in February 2025. 18 rooms, 72 beds and direct access to a 1700 m² gym.
Expansion
Initially 15 rooms, three more opening right after. The gym expands by 600 m², with a 260 m² strength area and 60 m running track coming soon.
